Home Inspections

Home buying is an exciting time! Our comprehensive inspection can help you learn about the house you want to buy and avoid costly surprises in the future.

What is a home inspection?

A home inspection is a visual survey, or general review of a home from top to bottom, from inside to outside based on the standard of practice of the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors (OAHI). At the end of the process, the purchaser will have a good understanding about the home they are buying, along with a complete list of any defects that might be present. A normal inspection will take anywhere between 2 and 3 hours' time.

How we can help you

Buying a home is among the most important investments you'll make in your lifetime. The decision to buy is seldom made easy. It's major, complex and very personal! There is enough stress in finding the right property and aranging the financing without having to ask the key question: is the house sound?

Our experienced, well-trained inspectors will conduct a comphrensive inspection based on the OAHI Standard of Practice, which can help you learn about the house you want to buy, and perhaps avoid costly surprises.

We encourage you to attend the inspection! This is a great opportunity for you to familarize yourself with the ins-and-outs of the property and its maintenance schedules, as well as seeing things firsthand with the inspector.

We provide pre-purchased, pre-listing, work-in-progress, Tarion New Home Warranty and pre- and post-renovation inspections.
